How to Keep Your Marketing Current With Changing Wedding Trends

As a Wedding Professional ,no matter what field you may be in, you should always be on top of the current trends for weddings.  With all the changes and new normal that we have had to adjust to in the year 2020 there have been new trends that have been born out of a need and trends that just have become popular like every other wedding season.  What can you do and why is it important for you as a wedding professional to market current trends?

Here are some things to keep in mind.

  • Change is a part of life and we all do our best to adapt to the current situation we find ourselves in.  Especially is change a part of the wedding industry.  With so many different situations, personalities and cultures weddings are all unique to themselves.  Even though this is the case couples still want to have the latest and greatest when it comes to their wedding day.  With your marketing as a wedding professional you want to be sure that you are up to date with the latest trends that couples are wanting.  Do you have a certain twist on a trend that is popular that will make the experience unique to a couple?  Use this information to showcase your talent and give couples a reason to book with your company. The more information you can provide for potential clients the more your company will be looked at. Couples looking for trends for their wedding are information hungry. So be sure you are the one feeding them!

  • Millennials are very active on Social Media.  This is especially true on Instagram and Facebook.  They are constantly in information seeking mode and want to know now what they can do for their events.  They want to know what other couples are doing and what the popular trends are. Use this information in your marketing.  Be sure that your Social Media is being done in the correct way.  In a way that you are being found and set up as the expert in your field.  Make your posts exciting and make a reason for them to constantly seek you out and follow you.  If you have daily posts (Mon-Fri) this will build their confidence in you that you are passionate about what you do, and you will take their needs and concerns seriously.   Millennials also like to communicate via social media while they gather their information.  Be sure to answer any inquiries or questions that they may have in a timely manner.  This will also show them that you value personal attention.

Trends are a way of life and so you as a wedding professional need to make sure that you are staying on top of what people are wanting at their weddings.  Marketing is a good way to put your brand out there in a good way.  Need someone to help in this area?  Check out our Social Media Packages here.
